The high capacity HP 905XL Magenta (T6M09AA), HP 905XL Yellow (T6M13AA) and HP 905XL Cyan (T6M05AA) cartridges can print nearly 825 pages per cartridge. Why isnt the OfficeJet Pro 6960 operable on a Vista 64 bit computer?

The official HP website is not providing this printer driver for Windows vista 64-bit OS particularly.
There are two methods to install this printer on windows visa 64bit OS. Please follow.
Method1: Use windows vista 64 bit built-in drivers.
Plug your printer to the computer using the USB port and turn it on.
Do update your windows to get the drivers. Windows update will install the drivers manually. Click here for more detail.
If the above option doesn’t work for you then try method2+
Method2: Use lower version driver on windows 10 OS.
Download this Windows 7 64bit Driver – Download
Install this driver on the windows vista64bit machine because windows 7 platform is same. May be you have to install it manually by extracting the drivers. Please let us know if can’t follow the steps, we’ll help you then.

My mother’s computer has Vista 64bit. Both methods didn’t work. I even went to the HP website to try and update it and that didn’t work either. There was (1) firmware update listed there. I even went to the control panel to ADD the printer on, and I couldn’t even do that. My mother is getting a new computer pretty soon but we need to get this working for now until that happens. PLEASE HELP…

HP Officejet 6960 Pro bought 7 months ago used with Mac Pro -I could use the scanner ….I’ll try to uninstall
the drives and install again -hope it’ll work.
the hp laser jet 6960 was installed but the scanner was not please assist i need to download the scanner.
To install the scanner driver you’ll have to install it manually by using its basic driver.
