A: We recommend you to use Windows 7 driver for Windows Vista machine. It will work, but you have to install it manually.
- Download the Windows 7 driver.
- Run the downloaded file in windows 7 computer and let it be extracted. It should be extracted to the %temp% folder with the random name.
- Then Go to %temp% folder and then copy the random name folder which contents HP files. Example folder name: "7zcentd"
- Copy that folder to Windows Vista machine. And install HP M28A printer using this driver manually ( "Add a printer" option.)

Hi, we tried to install exe dowloaded in a machine, copy %temp% dir into a Pc with Vista, but when we tried to manually install driver, we had a popup message that told us the driver wasn't for 32bit os system.

Maybe you have extracted them from 64bit OS. Anyway, here we are giving you its proper basic driver which will work with Windows XP, Vista, and Server 2003 32bit or 64bit both version. Please reply back, doesn't it work or not.
