And what about uninstalling them?

Printer driver uninstallation is pretty easy with a standard printer like the HP Color LaserJet 2500. If you’re on Windows, use the Start button to go to the HP folder, click on the LaserJet 2500 entry and select “Uninstall.” With a Mac, use the Finder, then go to the HP folder and drag it to the Trash. Do the same for the folder in /Library/Printers and restart the computer. You’re done!

What are the features of the HP Color LaserJet 2500?

Since this is a fairly old printer now, it’s pretty unsurprising that its features are a little on the basic side. It was one of the first color lasers to sell for an affordable price, and some corners did have to be cut to achieve this. Although it manages 16 ppm in monochrome and 4 ppm in color mode, with 600 dpi capability, it is bulky and noisy by today’s standards, with a long warm-up time.

According to the official specifications published by HP, this printer can be used with either Microsoft Windows or Apple MacOS. The drivers available have a high degree of compatibility, and will work with Windows 2000, NT 4.0, XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10.
