  1. Press the power button of your printer to turn on your printer.
  2. After the printer is switched on, simultaneously press ‘Cancel’ and ‘Wireless’ buttons on the printer control panel for 3 seconds.
  3. Once you release the Cancel and Wireless buttons the power button light will start to blink. After power button light stabilizes the Wireless LED will start blinking. The blinking of Wireless Led is a signal that your printer is ready to get connected with your mobile device.
  4. Open HP Smart App on your mobile device. First, you will have to search and add the printer on your HP Smart App before you can send commands to your printer. For this, tap on the ‘Plus’ icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  5. In the printer list you will see ‘DeskJet 2700 Series’. Tap on this printer name to proceed. If you see ‘No Printer Found’ error instead of the printer, then tap on ‘Set Up a New Printer’ option. Sometimes it may take multiple attempts to find the printer.
  6. Enter the Wi-Fi router password and tap on ‘Continue’.
  7. Wait as the HP Smart App tries to connect with your printer. Once the connection has been made you will be asked to press the ‘Information’ button on your printer.
  8. Press the Information button on your printer.

This HP inkjet printer uses one Black and one Tri-color ink cartridge. The standard sized Black (3YM61AE) and high yield Black (3YM62AE) cartridges can print up to 120 pages and 240 pages respectively. While the standard sized Tri-color (3YM60AE) and high yield Tri-color (3YM63AE) cartridges can print nearly 100 pages and 200 pages respectively.
