HP 2700 has been printing and scanning fine up until today. Scanning stopped working. Giving Error message Could not scan. I downloaded your scan Doctor but that did not solve scan problem. My Windows 10 is up to date. Need to have this fixed asap.
Uninstall the scanner driver from the ‘device manager’ and then reboot your computer and it should be fixed. OR switch the USB port to another port. Please let us know the results.

If it is the first printer ever installed on the computer then it will be USB001. If it is a 2nd printer then it will be USB002. If it is 3rd printer then it will be USB003. Only connected printers are shown in the ‘port-select’ window.

I’m sorry to say that the Windows Vista driver is not available. There is one chance that Windows 7 driver will work with Windows Vista, but doesn’t. I am not sure if it will work with Windows Vista but I am damn sure that it will work with Windows 7, 8, 10 operating system.
