My HP 1050 c plus was working fine on windows 10 now after some windows updates it is not connecting, that is it all seems fine but when I send it a plot nothing happens.
The new Windows 10 update has a bug, you’ll have to reinstall your printer again.
I already tried reinstalling which had no affect. As I have read about the bug we have to install the latest update but for some reason Microsoft tells me my computer is not ready for it.

I tried turning the spooler off and on again and that made no difference. You should note that my HP Office jet is working fine.
Microsoft has released a patch for this particular bug. To get this patch, do update your Windows twice to make sure there are no more Windows updates pending. We have a designjet 1050C and suffering the same problems as many of the others. We are running Windows 10 pro (Version 1909 OS Build 18363-904) with Intel i5 processor. We have tried the patch and also made sure Windows is up to date. I have tried the basic W10 driver but still nothing happening with the printer.

I get no error messages or anything when I send something to print. I stopped and restarted the spooler service but still nothing. I can print to our Officejet with no problem. I have another laptop with Windows 7 on and it will print fine to the 1050c.

I have a used 1050c plus and I didn’t get the USB cable that came with the plotter. The guy who hooked it up ran a blue cable from the network interface port on the back to the WiFi router. Should he have connected it to the computer instead of the router?
He also installed the Vista driver (he found some info that claimed it works with Win 10). Is this the same driver as the Win 10 driver on your site or is yours a different one? As you have guessed, we couldn’t get the plotter to work with Win 10 though it prints test pages and PDF’s, so mechanically the plotter appears to work fine.
1) No, it is connected correctly to the router. It means your plotter is connected to the computer through a local network.
2) No, our driver is different than Vista one, it is a basic driver (.inf driver). But most of the basic driver will work on all Windows operating systems. So your vista driver will work on Windows 10 if you install it manually using its INF file.

1) Yes, I would prefer Windows 10 drivers, if the Windows 10 driver is not available then I have no problem using Vista driver on Windows 10 computer, because it works 99%.
2) Yes, driver conflict could occur if you install the wrong printer model number driver on a computer, and later you install the right printer model number driver.
3) Yes, there are some Windows update problems that affect printer connectivity. In this case, you’ll have to wait for the Windows update patch or uninstall the recently updated Windows updates from your computer. Hi I have hp designjet 1055cm plus and been trying to download the drivers on all my computers and not been successful.. I’ve downloaded both files from the hp site and unziped. I’ve downloaded winzip to try to unzip them.. I’ve downloaded the basic 64 from this website and also downloaded something else like winzip and tried going into add printer settings to add my printer.. I’ve tried both by adding with disk and selecting the folder and it says I need to make sure it’s the 64 version which I did.. I’ve also tried adding by ip address off the printer.
